October 2007

Welcome to a preview of the articles in the October edition of the Content Club.

First we have our regular gardening feature. This month we're talking about the pleasure of growing roses in your garden.

Garden View

Then we have the first part of a two part article about common eye problems and how they are corrected by spectacles. It also includes a section about why eyes become tired when staring at a PC. Next month we'll be tackling common eye diseases such as Glaucoma.

Eyes Right

As a nation of animal lovers many of us own at least one pet. But how do you choose the pet that's right for you? This article discusses the questions you should ask yourself before purchasing an animal.

Pick the Perfect Pet

It's Halloween this month and we have a nice article about the history of All Hallow's Eve, which is not an American import as many people believe, but a home-grown tradition.

Happy Halloween

As a bonus for our Content Club members this month we have a spooky Halloween story penned by one of our regular writers. PLEASE NOTE: this particular feature is copyright to the author and she must be credited if you want to use it. Her name is on the story and we ask that you leave it there. If it proves popular we may run other stories in the future.

Trick or Treat Story
In addition, the download includes a half page history piece called A Peek into the Past; a full Halloween themed word search; a half page tricky sudoku; a Halloween themed children's puzzle page plus jokes and quotes.

If you have any ideas for article topics which you'd like to see covered in future months please let me know.

I wish you a great (and not too spooky) October!

Kind regards,

Jayne
